  • Lead the end-to-end process for product safety and reliability testing, including managing vendor quotes, scheduling, providing samples, and ensuring timely completion
  • Own radio performance and safety testing for products in collaboration with third-party labs
  • Arrange product reliability evaluations using internal and external testing resources
  • Support the release of new hardware revisions to manufacturing by providing accurate documentation, such as drawings and BOMs
  • Maintain revision control and handle the change management of product documents required for manufacturing
  • Proactively seek clarification and raise critical issues to senior engineers or management as needed
What You Will Bring:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in development, support, or manufacturing of electronic products
  • Expertise in managing the full documentation lifecycle for manufacturing and product development, including updates and revision control
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate documentation and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and apply them to products
  • Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing and approving test reports
  • Competence in planning and preparing annual budgets related to compliance and certifications

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
