As a Senior Product Designer at Hiive, you’ll join a fast-growing, high-impact product team. You’ll work within a modern tech stack alongside strong Design, Product, and Engineering partners who move quickly yet also care deeply about craft. We’re looking for someone who can ramp up fast, collaborate cross-functionally, and help drive meaningful, measurable outcomes for the business.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design of key product features and initiatives, from conceptualization to high-fidelity execution.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers, to define product requirements and design solutions that meet both user needs and business goals.

  • Creating and maintaining a cohesive, scalable design system to ensure consistency across products and platforms.

  • Conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to iterate and improve design solutions.

  • Designing for both web and mobile, with a focus on creating intuitive and delightful user experiences across devices.

  • Owning and evolving the visual and interaction design of the product, ensuring high-quality, pixel-perfect designs.

  • Leading design reviews and presenting design concepts to stakeholders across the company.

  • Supporting others around you, championing the company values with a positive outlook.

  • Responding effectively and respectfully to various working conditions with a growth mindset.

Required Experience:

  • 6+ years of professional design experience.

  • Previous experience facilitating research and user testing.

  • Experience with working with and developing design systems.

  • Mastery in Figma and other applicable design software.

  • Relevant experience with different design methods and techniques.

  • An online or PDF portfolio (please include any passwords).

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a Fintech startup or designing for marketplaces.

  • Ability to adapt well in quickly changing environments.
