Our Business Planning offering is positioned to become a connected planning platform, initially focused on revenue teams, but built to expand into adjacent planning workflows such as finance, headcount planning, cost forecasting, anomaly detection and many more use cases exploiting the latest AI/ML and forecasting techniques!

This role will have the opportunity to launch a new impactful product that will help fuel the future growth of the company, work directly with senior leadership, and help define our AI story and  posture in the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the product roadmap and lead product development end-to-end—from strategy to execution.
  • Deeply understand customer pain points around revenue planning, segmentation, and collaboration through interviews, research, and experimentation.
  • Define and refine core workflows, including user-defined workstreams, planning cycles, dependency management, and auditability.
  • Translate strategic goals into product requirements, working closely with design, engineering, and GTM teams to build intuitive and scalable features.
  • Work closely with GTM and customer success to ensure adoption and success of the product with design partners and early adopters.
  • Position CaptivateIQ as a modern alternative to traditional BPM solutions like Anaplan and Pigment by driving simplicity, usability, and speed to value.
  • Become the product leader of one of our new product teams by relentlessly learning about the space and what user needs exist in order to create roadmaps that are easy to buy-into and understand.
  • Own outcomes and be a champion for reporting on how we’re doing and what should be prioritized
  • Track industry trends and become a thought leader in the space to ensure we develop solutions that are differentiated from the competition.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a Product Manager with 4–8 years of experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, finance, or planning software.
  • You thrive at the intersection of strategic thinking and execution.
  • Experience launching zero-to-one products or products with a strong modeling component
  • Familiarity with BPM, FP&A, or GTM planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive, Pigment) is a strong plus.
  • You’re customer-obsessed, intellectually curious, and constantly seeking the “why” behind behaviors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with a sharp product sense and strong bias for action.
  • A do-what-it-takes attitude to ensure your product and team are successful
  • A great partner that knows how to balance focusing the team with also having fun and building a great culture where people want to work together

Benefits:

  • (US-ONLY) 100% of medical, dental, and vision covered including 75% for dependents
  • Flexible vacation days and quarterly mental health days so you can recharge
  • Enjoy a one-time expense on your 1-year work anniversary (to use for travel, home furnishings, fancy meal)
  • (US-ONLY) 401k plan to participate in and save towards the future
  • Newest Apple products to help you do your best work
  • Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support and celebrate the shared identities and life experiences of communities within CaptivateIQ. ERGs directly support our company-wide DEI goals as a space for developing and retaining diverse talent

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
