  • Manage platform administration, including device lifecycle management, health monitoring, audit logging, configuration management, and diagnostics.
  • Oversee advanced sensor administration tasks including sensor connectivity, network interface management, and throughput optimization.
  • Ensure robust network configurations through management of static routes, IPv6 interfaces, bond interfaces, and proxy settings.
  • Enhance system security and user management through secure authentication methods (LDAP, SAML, RADIUS, TACACS+), API access management, and global policies enforcement.

  • Build rapport and relationships with customers, prospects, partners, and teams to understand cloud and Kubernetes security use-cases, evangelize product vision, discuss the roadmap, and gather product feedback.
  • Drive the strategy and roadmap for cloud and Kubernetes security capabilities across public cloud environments and diverse Kubernetes deployments.
  • Identify and vet new opportunities to expand cloud-native and Kubernetes security monitoring; drive execution planning in collaboration with cross-functional teams (SA, BizDev, Partnerships, Sales).
  • Define and articulate the product vision for cloud and Kubernetes security, balancing investment in established functionality against emerging cloud-native security requirements.
  • Partner closely with engineering to bring innovative cloud and Kubernetes security capabilities to market.
  • Develop deep understanding of cloud security architectures, Kubernetes orchestration, and related technologies such as eBPF to inform product direction.
  • Translate complex cloud and Kubernetes security concepts into clear value propositions for customers and internal stakeholders.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
