  • Partner Engagement: Work closely with internal partners to understand their ideal user experience, gather feedback, and ensure successful Embed module adoption.
  • User-Centric Development: Advocate for end-users by conducting user research, analyzing feedback, and ensuring the product meets diverse user needs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish critical metrics, supervise product performance, and iterate based on data-driven insights.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep tabs on industry trends in web development, SDKs, and creative tools to inform product decisions.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years in product management, preferably with a focus on SDKs, APIs, or developer platforms.
  • Technical Savvy: Solid understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and experience working with developer tools.
  • Critical Thinking: Proven ability to develop product strategies that align with business goals and user needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams, celebrating shared wins and owning losses as wins.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Design. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Design Sensibility: Experience with design tools and an appreciation for user experience and visual design.
  • Global Perspective: You will work with international teams and understanding of localization considerations is a key element of success.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
