The User Growth team plays an integral part of the overall Redfin’s business – traffic growth. We drive deeper engagement from Redfin’s 50M+ unique monthly visitors through best-in-class home browsing and information consumption experience. Deeper connections with our visitors result in more contacts for Redfin real estate agents to buy or sell their home or more contacts for Rocket Mortgage bankers to purchase or refinance loans. Redfin app (iOS and Android) is a source of highly engaged users, with stronger user retention over competitors. We want to double down our investment in Redfin apps to grow our user base and deepen long term engagement by delivering the most informative, delightful and personalized experience on apps’ Listing Detail Page. Since these opportunities are so fundamental to Refin’s overall success, this role will collaborate closely with a number of teams across Redfin.

That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a talented Senior Product Manager II to chart our path forward to drive more user growth on apps. Your vision and solutions will directly and significantly impact Redfin’s profitability. You’ll be in charge of growing more app audience and engagement, balancing between iterative experiments and bigger bets with many layers of risk and ambiguity.

The Role

  • Build a vision and product strategy, while driving a cross functional and leadership alignment.

  • Forge roadmaps, requirements, and product designs, setting concrete goals to measure team success.

  • Work with stakeholders across businesses to build a cohesive experience, navigate tradeoffs, and drive business results.

  • Define and execute on the product roadmap for your team, rallying a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, marketers, and analysts to ship world-class products.

  • Influence engineering leaders on technical directions that have strategic impact.

  • Dive deep into data with analysts to offer critical insights and execute on product improvements.

  • Effectively communicate progress, outcomes, and recommendations to executives through clearly written narratives and reviews.

  • Improve the company’s best practices and mechanisms as a senior Product leader on the team.

Who You Are

  • Passionate about Redfin's mission.

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience working with a team to build and deliver new products or experiences, preferably with an MBA degree.

  • Preferably with previous experience with app-first Product Management and understanding of app users and release cycle

  • Able to influence executives and entry-level employees alike across multiple functions.

  • A Learner. You’ve demonstrated an ability to quickly develop subject matter expertise in a complex area.

  • Someone with deep customer empathy. You can listen to users, understand their key problems, and develop intuitive solutions to these problems.

  • You have a track record of working on innovative problems that are ambiguous at the outset, simplifying complexity into something actionable.

  • Great communicator. You can distill a challenging problem into its essential elements, and clearly communicate your vision to the team and executives.

  • Analytical. You’re data-driven at your core, and aren’t afraid of rolling up your sleeves to take on a complicated analysis. You are able to articulate complex issues in a simple way.

Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Colorado, New York City, New Jersey, Jersey City, California, D.C. and Washington candidates only:

Base Pay Range: $159,500.00 - 238,700.00.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
