Company Overview:

UniCourt is a leading SaaS provider delivering a powerful litigation data platform. We aggregate and organize data from US courts and other critical sources, enabling law firms, insurance companies, background check providers, and financial services firms to conduct sophisticated litigation research and generate actionable analytics. Our clients access this valuable data through our robust API, pre-built integrations, partner-built integrations, and our intuitive SaaS applications. We are passionate about empowering legal and risk professionals with data-driven insights.

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Integrations Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for all platform integrations. You will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and delivering high-value integrations that seamlessly connect our litigation data platform with the critical systems our clients use daily, particularly within the legal tech ecosystem. This includes leading the development of our own first-party integrations and collaborating closely with technology partners to guide the development of their integrations using our API. Your focus will be on enhancing user workflows, driving adoption, and unlocking new value propositions for our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Integration Strategy & Roadmap: Develop, own, and champion the product strategy and roadmap for all integrations (first-party and third-party), aligning with overall company goals, market opportunities, and client needs.

  2. First-Party Integration Development:

    • Define and prioritize use cases for integrations with key legal tech systems (e.g., Matter Management, Docketing Management, CRM/Business Development, Experience Management).

    • Translate use cases into detailed product requirements, user stories, and specifications.

    • Work closely with engineering teams throughout the agile development lifecycle – from concept and design through development, testing, and launch.

  3. Partner Integration Enablement:

    • Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with key strategic integration partners within the legal tech ecosystem.

    • Collaborate with partners to define joint integration solutions that effectively solve client problems.

    • Serve as the primary product point of contact for partners, guiding them on best practices for utilizing our API and ensuring their integrations meet quality standards and deliver value.

    • Develop resources (documentation guidelines, use case examples) to support partner integration efforts.

  4. Market & Customer Understanding:

    • Conduct market research to maintain a deep understanding of the legal technology landscape, competitor integration strategies, and emerging trends.

    • Engage directly with clients (law firms, insurance, finance, etc.) and prospects to understand their workflows, integration needs, pain points, and desired outcomes.

    • Analyze usage data and gather feedback on existing integrations to inform future iterations and roadmap prioritization.

  5. Go-to-Market & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to develop positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for new integrations.

    • Provide training and support to internal teams regarding integration capabilities and value propositions.

    • Act as a subject matter expert on integrations both internally and externally.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in Product Management within a B2B SaaS company, with a significant focus on driving joint customer value with partner applications and managing partner relationships.

  • Strong familiarity with the legal tech vendor landscape and various use cases they service in law firms (e.g., Clio Manage, NetDocuments, iManage, Aderant, Elite 3E, LexisNexis InterAction, Foundation Software Group, Litify, Filevine).

  • Bachelor's degree in law or relevant experience working in a law firm or in legal technology products.

  • Strong technical aptitude and a deep understanding of APIs (RESTful APIs preferred), integration patterns, data mapping, and the software development lifecycle.

  • Demonstrated ability to define product strategy, develop roadmaps, write detailed requirements, and prioritize features based on market needs and business value.

  • Experience working closely with engineering teams in an agile environment.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
