About Statsig

Statsig is on a mission to revolutionize how software is built, tested, and scaled.

Thousands of companies—including OpenAI, Microsoft, Atlassian, Notion, Bloomberg, Brex, Vercel, and Rippling —rely on Statsig to understand their product and find new ways to grow. We're not just building a better analytics or experimentation tool - we're changing the way products are built, so that every company can have a distributed, data-based product culture.

Backed by Sequoia Capital and Madrona Venture Group, Statsig has grown rapidly, surpassing key revenue milestones and becoming the platform of choice for leading product teams across the world.

What You’ll Do

As a senior PMM, you'll join a rapidly growing marketing team to help define & grow our product marketing function. You will lead key product marketing initiatives, push the function forward, help us position our product in a crowded market, and run large customer / partner marketing initiatives with some of the best companies in the world.

Statsig is growing quickly, and we have a lot of products to market (with more coming every week). If you’re excited to drive product marketing at a rapidly growing startup at the epicenter of technology trends, then this is the role for you!

Responsibilities
  • Product Marketing Strategy: Deeply understand our audience to develop positioning and messaging that resonates. Communicate the value and benefits of our products effectively across all marketing channels.

  • Positioning: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to refine product positioning and messaging, ensuring our value proposition stands out in the market.

  • Messaging: Craft compelling and clear messages tailored for various marketing channels, including email campaigns, website content, social media, and sales enablement materials.

  • Launches: Own the end-to-end product launch process—from strategic planning and messaging to channel execution and performance measurement. Collaborate closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure seamless and impactful launches.

  • Lifecycle Marketing: Design and implement content and messaging strategies for email drip campaigns targeting every stage of the customer journey, from onboarding to retention.

  • Content Strategy: Develop a content strategy that positions us as the go-to resource for insights on experimentation and data driven development. You’ll also manage related SEO initiatives and collaborate with contractors and future content marketing hires to drive user acquisition through valuable content.

  • Partnerships: Work with our partners on co-marketing efforts. You’ll collaborate with key players across the tech ecosystem, including companies using our product, partner companies marketing similar products, and service partners.

What We’re Looking For

We believe you’ll be an excellent fit if you bring:

  • Marketing experience: 5+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on product marketing.

  • Industry or business model experience: Experience in selling a B2B SaaS product marketed to a technical audience (developers, PMs, data scientists, etc.)

  • Experience setting marketing strategy AND executing:You’re able to balance strategic vision and operational excellence, from setting high-level team strategy to getting in the weeds planning launches and doing competitive research. This is an early-stage startup and you will be doing both.

  • Product marketing depth: With core competencies in positioning, messaging, launch management, and partner marketing.

  • Marketing breadth: You understand channel, content, and comms strategy in addition to product marketing strategy.

  • Writing ability: You’ve written short-form and long-form content, and can point to examples of your writing.

  • High-quality bar: You've developed marketing strategies and tactics that put the customer first, while hitting growth goals at the same time.

  • Goal setting & prioritization: You know how to set both short-term goals and long-term goals that are used for prioritization and focused on impact.

Compensation & team structure

Compensation for this role ranges on the level of the hire; salary will fall roughly between $160K - $190K, with significant additional upside in the form of equity.

This hire will report to the Head of Marketing (Skye Scofield), and sit on a marketing team that includes a content marketer, events marketer, and PMM. This is an in-person role, based in Bellevue, Washington.
