Job Description

Freshworks is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to execute the go-to-market strategy for our Employee Experience line of products. Reporting to the Senior Director, Product Marketing, you will focus on accelerating sales success through effective product positioning, market insights, and sales enablement. In this role, you will support the sales organization in key deals, gather critical market and field insights, and lead high-visibility enablement efforts to drive adoption of new messaging and sales plays. You will act as the bridge between our sales and product teams, bringing a deep understanding of our buyer personas to help achieve our revenue and adoption goals.

Please note: This is a hybrid role that requires an in-office presence three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday). 

Key Responsibilities:

Market & Field Intelligence

  • Establish systematic processes to gather, analyze, and distribute market insights from sales teams, customers, and industry sources

  • Conduct regular field listening sessions to understand sales challenges and success stories

  • Translate field intelligence into actionable insights for product strategy and positioning

  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders

Sales Support & Strategic Opportunity Development

  • Partner directly with sales teams on high-priority opportunities, providing customized messaging, competitive positioning, and value proposition articulation

  • Collaborate with demand generation and sales programs teams to develop the messaging, value proposition and enablement that power strategic pipeline campaigns

  • Create compelling sales narratives and messaging guides that enable more effective prospecting conversations

  • Contribute product marketing expertise to campaign planning sessions to ensure messaging resonates with target buyer personas

Strategic Initiatives & GTM Alignment

  • Co-develop quarterly OKRs and long-term marketing strategy in collaboration with product marketing leadership

  • Partner with product management to ensure market feedback influences product roadmap decisions

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure alignment on campaigns and demand generation programs

  • Shape go-to-market strategy based on market intelligence and customer insights

  • Deliver hands-on execution of launch activities in local time zones, adapting messaging and materials based on immediate field feedback

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10-13 years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, with at least 5-7 years focused on enterprise software solutions

  • Go-to-Market expertise: Proven track record of developing compelling messaging, positioning, and sales enablement materials that drive measurable business results

  • Strategic thinking: Demonstrated ability to connect market insights with business strategy and translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer value propositions

  • Industry insight: Strong understanding of employee experience, IT service management, and/or related enterprise software categories, with insight into evolving IT priorities

  • Cross-functional influence: Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence stakeholders across product, sales, and marketing without formal authority

  • Field engagement: Experience providing real-time support and guidance to sales teams during critical customer engagements and product launches

  • Data-driven approach: Ability to use analytics and market feedback to continuously refine messaging effectiveness and go-to-market strategies

  • Consulting background: Experience in a consulting role, with demonstrated ability to quickly understand business challenges, develop strategic recommendations, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Additional Information

Please note: This is a hybrid role that requires an in-office presence three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday). 

This role is based in the Seattle Metro Area, and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a target bonus.

Compensation Package
$189,100- $271,860 USD Base Salary + Variable Compensation
