This is a highly visible, client-facing role that requires deep technical program management expertise, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, remote, and matrixed environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Program Manager, you’ll be accountable for the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic IT consulting initiatives. Your role will span the entire program lifecycle—from initiation through post-implementation review—and ensure alignment with Mobiz’s standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of IT infrastructure deployment, cloud migration, and automation projects
  • Lead end-to-end program delivery including scoping, planning, execution, and delivery
  • Coordinate across cross-functional delivery teams (engineering, DevOps, cloud, etc.)
  • Act as the primary client-facing contact for program updates and escalations
  • Maintain accurate documentation: project plans, RAID logs, dashboards, and reports
  • Drive resolution of risks and issues across program initiatives
  • Support PMO best practices and continuous improvement efforts

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of IT project management experience and 5+ years in program management
  • Proven experience delivering public cloud (Azure, AWS) and data center migration projects
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC (Agile & Waterfall) and ITSM practices
  • Hands-on experience with PM tools: MS Project, JIRA, ServiceNow
  • Demonstrated IT consulting experience with external clients
  • PMP or equivalent certification (active)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across EST and PST time zones

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
