Job Description:

We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Program Manager to help establish DTN’s Program Management Office (PgMO) and lead delivery of strategic initiatives across our enterprise. This high-impact role will partner with business and product owners, project managers, and cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes through effective planning, governance, and oversight.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of complex programs by coordinating workstreams, identifying and mitigating risks, and maintaining a clear view of progress across the program portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to shape PgMO best practices and deliver meaningful change across DTN.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Lead the planning and execution of outcome-driven programs, tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, capacity, and financials

  • Ensure project alignment across functions by coordinating governance, managing interdependencies, and resolving blockers

  • Develop and maintain program documentation, KPIs, and reporting dashboards to ensure transparency and accountability

  • Drive effective change delivery by implementing scalable governance structures and supporting PgMO processes and standards

  • Partner with business leaders to understand demand, align priorities, and ensure successful transitions to operations

  • Engage with cross-functional teams, internal IT groups, and third-party vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery

  • Provide regular updates and insights to executive sponsors and stakeholders, including the Business Owner and Senior Leadership Team

  • Support resourcing decisions and team capacity planning within and across programs

What You Will Bring to the Role:

  • 5+ years of program/project management experience, including large-scale, multi-vendor, and enterprise-level initiatives

  • Proven success influencing and communicating with senior leadership and external partners

  • Strong background in delivering change in fast-paced, dynamic environments

  • Hands-on experience with PPM tools such as Wrike, Smartsheet, or similar

  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset

  • Ability to lead, coach, and align diverse teams toward shared goals

What You Can Expect From DTN:

  • Competitive Salary

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Flexible working hours

  • Remote work model (position dependent)

  • Competitive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans

  • 6% 401K matching

  • Unlimited access to 13k+ courses via learning platform to support employee career advancement

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
