This role offers an exciting and outstanding opportunity to help lead the opening of new Chewy Vet Care practices across the country. As the launch program manager for individual practice launches, you will partner closely with customers throughout the launch lifecycle, ensuring each practice opens on time and is set up for long-term success. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Base Salary Range
$129,500-$207,000 USD

What You'll Do:
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the central point of contact across teams including construction, real estate, medical, operations, HR, TA, IT, product, legal, and accounting to align on launch planning and execution.
- Timeline Management: Create, manage, and communicate detailed cross-functional timelines with clear milestones, ownership, and dependencies to keep launches on track.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks to launch success, develop mitigation plans, evaluate tradeoffs, and raise to senior leadership as needed to ensure swift resolution.
- Customer Communication: Lead regular launch status meetings and manage updates to customers, ensuring alignment and transparency across all partners.
- Go/No-Go Leadership: Facilitate go/no-go decisions with senior leaders using data and insights to guide decision making.
- Post-Launch Retrospectives: Conduct launch retrospectives to document findings, identify areas for improvement, and guide prioritization and closure of findings.
- Continuous Improvement: Partner with peers and leaders to simplify and scale our launch playbook, improving the consistency and quality of future practice openings.
- Project Management: As needed, support key initiatives as the lead project manager.
What You'll Need:
- 7+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional programs or projects, preferably in healthcare, veterinary, or retail environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and handle multiple complex workstreams.
- Experience managing high-stakes cross-functional timelines and aligning customers across different levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to assess risk, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate appropriately.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft updates and briefings for senior leaders.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Smartsheet and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bonus:
- Experience launching brick-and-mortar locations (e.g., practices, stores, healthcare facilities).
- Background in veterinary medicine or clinical operations.
- Experience with Confluence and Jira
