Job Title: Senior Programmatic Specialist
Job Summary: Community Boost is seeking an experienced and highly strategic Senior Programmatic Specialist to lead advanced Google Display and YouTube advertising initiatives for our mission-driven clients. This contractor role is ideal for someone with 7–8 years of hands-on programmatic experience who can independently architect, execute, and optimize sophisticated media strategies across Google Ads and related platforms. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to drive performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure campaigns integrate seamlessly into broader omnichannel strategies. Experience with paid social is a strong bonus.
Essential Job Functions:
● Drive website traffic, conversions, and revenue growth for purpose-driven clients through advanced programmatic strategies. Partner with the Head of Programmatic Practice to develop, refine, and scale high-impact campaign strategies rooted in audience insights and performance data.
● Write compelling ad copy and support the development of creative assets tailored for YouTube and Google Display placements.
● Build, launch, and optimize complex campaigns within Google Ads, with deep expertise in YouTube, Display, and programmatic best practices.
● Monitor performance, pacing, and KPIs; proactively surface insights and strategic recommendations to internal teams and clients.
● Analyze campaign results to refine targeting, creative, bidding strategies, and audience segmentation for improved ROI.
● Identify emerging trends, platform updates, and audience behaviors to unlock new opportunities for reach and impact.
● Prepare and deliver clear, actionable performance reports and strategic recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
● Collaborate cross-functionally with paid social, search, and creative teams to ensure cohesive omnichannel execution.
● Troubleshoot technical issues across platforms, pixels, tracking, and integrations with confidence and independence

● Creative And Messaging Influence: guides creative direction by understanding how messaging, formats, and visual elements affect performance across placements.
● Technical Troubleshooting And QA Excellence: quickly resolves tracking, pixel, tagging, and setup issues to ensure accurate data and flawless execution.
● Client And Stakeholder Communication: presents complex programmatic concepts and performance narratives clearly, driving alignment and confidence across teams.
● Proactive Innovation: identifies new features, betas, audience tools, and optimization levers to push performance and unlock new opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
● 8+ years of digital marketing experience, with at least 5 years focused specifically on programmatic advertising. Deep hands-on experience managing YouTube and Google Display campaigns within Google Ads.
● Strong understanding of programmatic strategy, audience segmentation, creative testing, and performance optimization.
● Experience with paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn) is a strong bonus.
● Google Ads certifications (YouTube, Display, Video, Analytics) strongly preferred.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
● Experience working with nonprofits or social impact organizations is a plus.
● Highly organized, proactive, and entrepreneurial, with a collaborative mindset.
● StackAdapt or other DSP experience is a plus.
