ELEKS Project Management Office is looking for a Senior Project Manager in Chicago.

ABOUT PROJECT
The project involves coordinating complex internal IT initiatives across multiple regions, with a focus on aligning business processes and technology through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and international deployments.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of experience managing projects, ideally in large-scale or international settings
  • Proven knowledge of project management principles
  • Fluency in English
  • Practical experience in using the EVM model
  • Proven expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a deep understanding of PMBOK principles
  • A strong understanding of project financials (profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and resource utilization)
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Experience coordinating multi-country system rollouts, change initiatives, or business transformations
  • Good working knowledge of project management tools: JIRA, TFS, BugTracker, MS Project
  • Basic knowledge of business administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional project management certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into actionable IT projects
  • Ensure alignment of technology solutions with business strategy
  • Coordinate deployments at the country/cluster/region level
  • Lead deployment planning, UAT, readiness, and go-live activities
  • Manage stakeholder communications and escalations
  • Facilitate collaboration with Manufacturing, HR, and Communication teams
  • Oversee data migration and testing in coordination with Data Management and regional teams
  • Serve as the key IT contact for Local IT Manufacturing and other internal groups
