ELEKS Project Management Office is looking for a Senior Project Manager in Chicago.
ABOUT PROJECT
The project involves coordinating complex internal IT initiatives across multiple regions, with a focus on aligning business processes and technology through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and international deployments.
REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of experience managing projects, ideally in large-scale or international settings
- Proven knowledge of project management principles
- Fluency in English
- Practical experience in using the EVM model
- Proven expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a deep understanding of PMBOK principles
- A strong understanding of project financials (profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and resource utilization)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and engaging with senior stakeholders
- Experience coordinating multi-country system rollouts, change initiatives, or business transformations
- Good working knowledge of project management tools: JIRA, TFS, BugTracker, MS Project
- Basic knowledge of business administration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional project management certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders
- Translate business needs into actionable IT projects
- Ensure alignment of technology solutions with business strategy
- Coordinate deployments at the country/cluster/region level
- Lead deployment planning, UAT, readiness, and go-live activities
- Manage stakeholder communications and escalations
- Facilitate collaboration with Manufacturing, HR, and Communication teams
- Oversee data migration and testing in coordination with Data Management and regional teams
- Serve as the key IT contact for Local IT Manufacturing and other internal groups
