Insomniac is looking for a Senior Track Project Manager. In this role the Senior Track Project Manager will be responsible for leading development within game area through strategic planning, scheduling, and tracking work. Collaborates with cross-discipline directors, leads, and managers to achieve project milestones and solve production challenges. Responsible for directing the work of game area project managers in alignment with studio development practices and project priorities

Experience with co-development partners and mission production highly preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for game area roadmap, milestone schedule, and game results as led by project director
  • Drive game development process and tool improvement within game area in partnership with peers
  • Analyze and escalate risk with experts to collaboratively assess urgency/importance, develop options, and ensure resolution
  • Reliably communicate updates and changes in game area to the development team
  • Ensure scheduled deliverables are completed as expected within milestone and project phase objectives
  • Maintain awareness of game content status and quality levels as part of delivery strategy
  • Consistently demonstrate Insomniac’s cultural leadership values, including collaborative relationships across the studio
  • Other duties may be assigned

Supervisory Duties

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities

Computer Skills:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of bug tracking database(s) - DevTrack, Jira, TFS, or other industry standard.
  • Working knowledge of version control software. Perforce is preferred.

Other Skills:

  • Solves problems both independently and collaboratively and adheres to the studio’s expectations of cultural leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Must be able to present ideas clearly and work well within a large team environment.
  • Must be a good team leader and be able to make informed decisions to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to create and maintain good relationships with other departments as well as external contractors

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. 
Base pay is one component of our total compensation package. Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location, as well as additional compensation components, such as annual bonus, profit sharing, and other incentive plans.
