OverviewThe Project Management area is responsible for leading a team, typically cross-functional teams, to achieve project goals and requirements. Work with project teams and stakeholders to plan, execute, monitor, and control the project. Manage resources, budget, cost, time, quality, risks and other constraints.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading multiple complex, cross-functional projects concurrently (typically 3–5 initiatives) while ensuring strong coordination, communication, and execution across Engineering, Product, Marketing, Legal, Security, Sales, and Operations/IT. This role requires a highly experienced professional who can operate with a high degree of autonomy, effectively manage competing priorities, and drive projects to successful completion.
This individual will work closely with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, and will support initiatives with visibility to the CTO and executive team. The Senior Project Manager is expected to proactively manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure alignment across teams to meet key business objectives.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining detailed project plans, managing dependencies, risks, and issues, and facilitating regular status updates and stakeholder communications. The role also requires a strong understanding of internal processes supporting product launches, ensuring all required activities are completed on time. Additional responsibilities may include project financial tracking and reporting to senior management.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Project Management experience, including leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
- PMP certification
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and drive results with minimal oversight
- Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems under pressure and tight timelines
- High attention to detail
Additional Skills:
Experience with SAFe Agile methodologies
Proficiency with Smartsheet, MS Excel, Jira, and MS Project (or similar tools)
Familiarity with infrastructure environments (e.g., data center operations, AWS technologies, and related terminology)
Experience with project financial tracking and reporting
For this role, we anticipate paying $153,000 - $184,000 annually. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
