At PrizePicks, we are the fastest-growing sports company in North America, as recognized by Inc. 5000. As the leading platform for Daily Fantasy Sports, we cover a diverse range of sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, and Esports titles like League of Legends and Counter-Strike. Our team of over 550 employees thrives in an inclusive culture that values individuals from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their level of sports fandom. Ready to reimagine the DFS industry together?

PrizePicks is looking for a Senior Public Affairs Coordinator to serve as the "engine" of our national advocacy team. This is a critical role designed to help our organization scale by building the infrastructure and logistical excellence required to win in the complex world of gaming policy.

We are seeking a high-energy "force multiplier" with a sharp eye for detail—someone who takes pride in solving tricky logistical problems, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is a digital native at heart. This role is built for a proactive professional who understands how image and relationships = influence. It reports to the SVP of Public Affairs.

What you’ll do:
  • Administrative Operations: You will manage the lifecycle of our external partnerships, including processing contracts, managing invoices, and ensuring our consultants and vendors are aligned with our internal reporting standards.
  • Digital Influence: Our users are sports and culture enthusiasts who love engaging with each other as much as they love using our app. You will lead a strategy to cultivate policy maker champions for these users. This includes: conducting deep-dive research on potential champions to help identify areas of policy alignment; working with Comms, Marketing, and third-party vendors to assemble high-impact content—including earned media clips, industry news, stakeholder reactions, and social media assets—to make our messages come alive; and coordinating with the Directors of Government Affairs to manage the logistics of digital deployments (tweets, videos, and ads) to ensure the right people are seeing the right messages at the right time.
  • Grassroots and Public Advocacy: You will build and manage a process to identify and mobilize our most passionate users. This involves working with internal teams to find, review, and interview potential advocates, and develop them into champions for PrizePicks.
  • Event Logistics: You will own the "Run of Show" for major events. You understand that setting the stage is just as important as the message itself. You’ll manage invite lists, work with organizers to ensure our brand is protected, and handle the logistics that allow our team to show up with maximum impact.
  • Budgetary Strategy & Political Compliance: Support the efficient management of the department’s financial operations, including the oversight of lobbyist retainers and political contributions, gaining essential experience in the administrative and compliance side of government relations. You will help administer our PAC and political given efforts, ensuring solicitation and filings are handled with total accuracy. You may also represent PrizePicks at fundraisers and community events, and liaise with political organizations.
  • Efficiency & AI Integration: You will find creative ways to leverage AI and automation to make our operations more efficient, freeing up team time to focus on high-level relationship building.
What you have:
  • Operational Excellence: 2–4 years of experience in political campaigns, digital advocacy, or public affairs. You are the person people go to when they need a complex logistical or research problem solved.
  • Digital Fluency: You are a digital native with a deep understanding of social media, political image-making, and how to use digital tools to move the needle on policy issues.
  • Analytical & Creative Skills: A strong ability to synthesize complex topics into "so what" summaries, combined with the creativity to imagine how a policy win or loss can be framed for a public audience.
  • Initiative & Growth Mindset: You don’t wait for a manual; you build it. You are a fast learner who looks at challenges as opportunities for professional acceleration and career development. You aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done when legislative calendars push work outside the normal 9-5.
Why PrizePicks:
  • PrizePicks is the fastest-growing independent sports company and the leader in the daily fantasy sports (DFS) industry. We are a team of sports fans and innovators. This role is a unique opportunity to build the infrastructure of a world-class public affairs operation. We play as a team, celebrate wins, and provide a clear path for those who want to grow as the company scales.
Where you’ll live:
  • This position is remote, with a preference for candidates in California, Washington, DC, or Atlanta. #LI-Remote

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
