Responsibilities


 •    Perform testing, validation, and regression testing of new 5G/4G Macro and Small Cell software and hardware. 
•    Validate and develop 5G system test cases and system documentation. 
•    Troubleshoot and support root cause analysis of both software and hardware-related issues. 
•    Monitor system performance and assist in identifying and resolving deviations in performance. 
•    Support the deployment and integration of new software and hardware. 
•    Assist in alarm monitoring, respond to critical system alarms, and support troubleshooting and resolution of exceptional issues. 
•    Provide support for the commissioning and integration of 5G/4G RAN hardware in both lab and field environments. 
•    Develop, review, and execute Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for RAN integration, software upgrades, and maintenance activities. 
•    Conduct interoperability testing with third-party products and support FOA/pilot validation efforts. 
•    Provide measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of business strategies. 
•    Analyze, develop and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert. #LI-DNI
 

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s progressive related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience. 

 

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: 

  • RAN engineering, testing, and validation for 5G or 4G; 

  • Radio Network Commissioning and Integration of 5G or 4G; 

  • Macro 5G or 4G; 

  • Small Cells; and, 

  • RAN Validation and C&I (Commissioning & Integration) processes and tools.

 

Domestic travel up to 75% required.

 

Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Bellevue, WA may be permitted up to 20%.
