Dandy is transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $200B. Backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital firms, we’re on an ambitious mission to simplify and modernize every function of the dental practice through technology. As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients.

About the Role

Dandy is hiring a University Recruiter to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company. You will play a critical role in shaping our early-career pipeline by attracting, engaging, and hiring top students from universities, boot camps, and emerging talent programs. You’ll partner closely with high-performing hiring teams, and our People team to create a high-velocity, high-impact campus recruiting engine. This is an excellent role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves building relationships, and wants to make a visible impact on company growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for interns and early-career candidates across technical and non-technical roles

  • Build strong partnerships with universities, career centers, professors, and student organizations

  • Develop campus engagement strategies (info sessions, career fairs, on-campus events, virtual programming, etc.)

  • Create scalable processes for college recruiting hiring across multiple teams

  • Manage relationships with hiring managers to ensure alignment on candidate profiles and interview processes

  • Collaborate closely with recruiting coordinators to schedule interviews and move candidates through pipelines efficiently

  • Leverage tools like LinkedIn, Ashby, Juicebox, and sourcing channels to proactively build top-of-funnel pipelines

  • Use data to measure outreach effectiveness, track trends, and continuously improve our college recruiting strategy

  • Help shape employer brand presence for early-career talent through social media, events, and student communities

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of university recruiting, campus recruiting, or early-career sourcing experience

  • Experience hiring for technical roles (engineering, product, data) in a high-growth or startup environment highly preferred

  • Strong relationship-builder with the ability to represent Dandy with professionalism and enthusiasm

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and iterating quickly with limited resources

  • Strong project management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple events and pipelines simultaneously

  • Ability to learn and apply nuanced talent standards to early-career hiring

  • Data-driven approach to decision-making, with a passion for process improvement

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
