Lead full-cycle technical recruiting in Canada: source, screen, and hire candidates; build sourcing strategies and pipelines; partner with hiring managers; assess technical and behavioral fit; manage candidate experience, metrics, and ATS reporting; recommend process improvements.
Apps Associates is currently looking for a passionate Technical Recruiter who is committed to hiring the best talent in Canada against our high bar for technical & cultural fit, potential and performance. The Technical Recruiter must be a creative thinker with the ability to source both active and passive candidates while working in our fast paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving the recruiting process – including, sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates
- Develop and leverage comprehensive sourcing strategies through established and new channels including networking, targeting organizations, job boards, internal referrals, database mining to provide high quality candidates for open positions and pipeline
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers, delivery managers and sales to best identify specific talent needs for multiple positions in various practices
- Evaluate and assess candidates (technical, behavioral, competency) through a deep understanding of job requirements
- Provide exceptional candidate experience at all stages of the candidate lifecycle
- Manage the candidate pipeline flow including maintaining data reports and performance metrics
- Proactively conduct research and investigate new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies
- Provides recommendations and best practices to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the recruiting process
Desired Skills and Experience
- BA/BS or equivalent preferred
- 7-10 years of full lifecycle technical recruiting experience preferably in an IT consulting environment
- Strong experience with recruiting a variety of skills - Oracle Cloud ERP, Integration, Analytics, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Applications Managed Services, Project/Program Managers
- Experience hiring permanent employees, independent contractors and third party vendor contractors
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (Oracle HCM)
- Able to adapt and work in fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and understanding of customer needs
