Analytica is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to support efforts to detect and combat fraud, waste, and abuse across federal healthcare programs supporting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This temporary position will support the CMS Center for Program Integrity and contribute to enterprise-level vulnerability management activities that protect the integrity of federal healthcare programs, including Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, and Exchange programs.
This is a temporary position with an anticipated end date in late September.

Responsibilities- Conduct research across a wide variety of policy, regulatory, and coverage areas to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within federal healthcare programs
- Assess program risks and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies to address fraud, waste, and and abuse vulnerabilities
- Documenting findings and preparing materials for stakeholder review
- Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to analyze vulnerabilities affecting program integrity
- Develop clear, concise, and well-structured research reports, briefings, and presentations using Microsoft Office tools
- Present research findings and recommendations to client leadership and program teams
- Maintain documentation of vulnerability assessments, risk evaluations, and mitigation activities
- Work closely with both client and Analytica managers to support ongoing program integrity initiatives
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to daily client-facing activities
- Experience supporting Medicaid or federal healthcare programs
- Demonstrated technical writing and research experience
- Knowledge of CMS program integrity processes and vulnerabilities affecting:
- Medicare (Fee-for-Service and Part C/D)
- Medicaid
- Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
- Federally-Facilitated Exchange (FFE) programs
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including:
- Microsoft Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative, client-facing team environment
- Ability to manage multiple research tasks and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
- Experience supporting CMS program integrity, fraud prevention, or vulnerability management initiatives
- Familiarity with fraud risk frameworks or risk management processes
- Experience working on federal healthcare or government consulting contracts
- Experience presenting research findings to stakeholders or leadership
