About the Role
As the business grows and introduces increasingly sophisticated financial products, we are looking for an experienced professional to take ownership of our financial data ecosystem: improving cost and revenue collection methodologies, strengthening reconciliation processes, and driving deeper analytical insight for management.
Reporting Line: Head of Business Intelligence
Location: Remote
Responsibilities
- Review and redesign existing cost and revenue collection processes from external counterparties
- Develop scalable methodologies for integrating new financial products into the accounting and reporting ecosystem
- Design automated validation and control mechanisms that improve financial data quality
- Review and audit the current Activity-Based Costing (ABC) methodology
- Investigate discrepancies and work with Finance, Operations, and Technology to resolve root causes
- Manage multiple reporting scopes with varying legal entity inclusion and exclusion rules
- Support ad-hoc reporting requests during corporate transactions
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Experience working with General Ledger data
- Experience designing reconciliation or financial control processes
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to investigate complex financial data
- Experience working with SQL and large datasets
- Ability to understand end-to-end financial processes rather than isolated reports
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
