This is a hands-on role where the associate will help build out the Rust Ecosystem and write code for new product features. It is a great opportunity to build secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-based services using modern software development practices. Associate will work closely with the technical lead and architects. As a senior technical member of your team, you will guide junior engineers and help develop their technical skills.
 

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of technology experience in the development and implementation of software solutions in highly scalable environments using RUST as a programming language with a preference within financial technologies.
  • Preferred experience in high-volume, low latency real-time messaging applied to electronic trading.
  • Comprehensive experience in software engineering in an agile environment.
  • Ability to help clarify user requirements and define accurate use cases.
  • Proven hands-on development skills with technology leadership.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
  • Enhancing applications to support pricing, order management, trading, simulations, and monitoring.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years of IT experience as a developer.
  • Excellent proficiency in Linux operating systems, shell scripting, multi-processing, and parallel computing (including experience in Python)
  • Experience and expertise in profiling and performance turning software.
  • Proficiency in enterprise design patterns and the ability to drive mature delivery practices through automation.
  • Ability to apply Agile methodologies or iterative development processes.
  • Proficient with CI & CD tools, version control systems and can handle development for multiple releases in parallel.
  • Experienced with Git /Jenkins, NPM is highly preferred.
  • Expertise dealing with big-data technologies such as Snowflake or similar.
  • Familiarity with event driven and service-oriented processing is desired.
  • Experience with digital assets and EVM is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and demonstrate versatility in addition to your specialization.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to run multiple tasks at a given time.
  • Demonstrated work experience with cloud technologies such as AWS. Industry certifications are welcome, but hands on experience and expertise are better
    Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 41,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 145,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is not available for independent contractors
