The Senior Sales Manager in Massachusetts/Connecticut will lead a sales team, develop key customer relationships, and achieve sales targets through strategic initiatives and collaboration with partners.
Job Summary
Kiva Confections will depend on the Senior Sales Manager - Massachusetts & Connecticut (SSM) to provide sales leadership to the state of Massachusetts/Connecticut . The SSM will get results by effectively maintaining the relationship with our distribution partner and our top accounts in the region. You'll focus on achieving goals and developing programs inside our key Kiva customers, establishing new business from targeted customers, and developing current buyer relationships. The SRSM will help deliver company-assigned metrics, be responsible for leading the sales team, develop and implement promotions, and cultivate positive relationships in the region’s top dispensaries.

As Kiva's Senior Sales Manager - Massachusetts/Connecticut, you will …
- Develop, lead and mentor sales team in the Massachusetts/Connecticut markets to attain volume, distribution, and market share critical metrics
- Develop and implement clear ways of working for day-to-day and week-to-week management of the partner relationship through the partner Project Manager
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure production, packaging, and inventory are aligned with Kiva Sales and Marketing plans
- Work closely with the Trade Marketing Manager to achieve outstanding in-store merchandising, programming and promotions
- Develop timely sales reports and return on investment on specific marketing and trade efforts for both management and customers
- Achieve established quarterly sales targets in region by developing customer growth initiatives
- Develop a clear process of being responsible for the business applying information from Leaflink
- Establish relationships with Kiva business partners to implement new and existing business, while driving improvement and establishing tight-knit collaborations
- Assist with the communication of new product launches and associated sales targets
- Travel to dispensaries to support efforts in establishing relationships with Top 30 dispensary managers and buyers
- Track lead to sale in Salesforce
- Build and revise yearly forecast, run revenue, distribution targets and reporting for respective territory while seeing opportunity and gaps of growth with current portfolio
- Lead Monthly Planning and Quarterly Business Review meetings with Partner and Kiva Leadership Team

- Excellent customer relations, relationship-building and leadership skills
- Organized and diligent
- Must be able to pass Motor Vehicle Report requirements
- Proficient with Google Suite, CRM tools; Salesforce experience a plus
- Experience with people management and improving relationships
- Excellent communication skills!
- Passion for the cannabis industry!
