Position Summary:As a Senior Sales Operations Analyst, you’ll be the analytical and operational partner for our Sales and Insights teams. You’ll turn complex retail deduction data into clear, compelling business cases that help suppliers protect revenue, recover deductions, and make smarter decisions.
In this role, you’ll support our go-to-market (GTM) strategy by creating ROI analyses for prospects, enabling Sales with actionable insights, and empowering Customer Success to deliver measurable value to our clients. If you thrive on solving problems with data, designing better processes, and influencing strategy through insights, this role puts you at the heart of how SPS Revenue Recovery drives growth and impact for suppliers. As a Senior Analyst, you’ll help support our Enterprise Analyst on high-level business problems and Enterprise deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data-driven ROI analysis: Partner with Sales and Insights to build ROI audits for prospects — analyzing multi-retailer data to calculate total, retailer-specific, and category-level returns on investment.
  • Business case development: Support Account Executives and Retail Insights Managers in crafting persuasive value stories for prospects and clients, including pricing strategies, time savings, and deduction recovery potential.
  • Customer success enablement: Provide ad-hoc analysis to support upsell opportunities and contract negotiations.
  • Dashboards & reporting: Build and maintain intuitive dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking to give leadership visibility into performance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Process improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize sales processes, ensuring teams can move faster and smarter.
  • Operational insight: Proactively surface trends and insights that inform sales strategies, product positioning, and revenue forecasting.
  • Confidentiality & trust: Handle sensitive client and revenue data with discretion and integrity while influencing strategic decisions across teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, or data analysis — ideally within a B2B SaaS or supply chain-focused environment.
  • Revenue Recovery Knowledge: Understanding of the retailer deductions space, how it impacts suppliers, and common deduction codes for retailers like Walmart, Amazon, and Target.
  • Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Advanced skills in quantitative analysis, modeling, and data visualization to turn raw numbers into actionable insights.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
  • Clear Communicator: Able to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders at all levels; lead audit conversations as needed with cross-functional partners.
  • Problem Solver: Naturally curious and proactive in identifying gaps, resolving issues, and improving processes.
  • Adaptable & Self-Motivated: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities with precision.
  • Key Skills: Advanced Excel & Microsoft Office, ROI/business case development, retail deductions & revenue recovery analysis, dashboard & KPI reporting, cross-functional and stakeholder communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SQL experience.
  • Power BI experience.
  • CRM tools (Salesforce) experience.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude) to support data analysis and process efficiency.

Location:

This role follows a hybrid work model for candidates based in Rogers, AR and is also open to 100% remote candidates in the U.S.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
