The Basics

Tanium is seeking a highly analytical, problem solving and solution-oriented Senior Salesforce.com Developer who will serve as a member of Tanium’s Business Systems group within the IT organization.

The person will work cross-functionally with several organizations at Tanium (including sales, marketing, channel operations, business operations and business intelligence), with the primary objective of contributing toward Sales systems, providing analysis, design & develop systems that will address end to end business problems in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in multiple Salesforce.com / Salesforce.com ecosystem projects and best practices. They will be highly data driven, intellectually curious, creative, and able to move quickly while keeping focused on high impact projects with limited direction and supervision.

What you'll do

  • Provide comprehensive operational support including improving Salesforce.com platform and supporting GTM Operations and Customer Support Operations
  • Deal with complex issues by thoroughly understanding the business and its functions
  • Partner with business process owners, SFDC architects, and vendors at all levels and build scalable design
  • Participates in architecture discussions including all integration components
  • Hands on development with LWC, Apex, Salesforce triggers, Visualforce and other relevant scripting languages
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies
  • Monitor industry trends to ensure the technology architecture is current with industry standards and new technology implementation
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and detailed estimation for SFDC projects
  • Be well versed in communicating with business process owners, business architects, and technical peers
  • Develops operational measurements, defines business issues and provides recommendations and solutions to business challenges
  • Create Key Documents –Process Flows, Technical design docs and Test Scripts

We’re looking for someone with

Education

  • Must have Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics) or equivalent experience
  • MA preferred

Experience

  • Must have at least 4 years of Sales process experience & Salesforce.com
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience with PRM, CPQ, CLM, LMS & Sales Enablement systems
  • Must have at least 4 years of hands-on Database, Data Modeling & Analytics experience
  • Must have at least 4 years of hands-on developer experience with LWC, Apex, Visualforce, Triggers
  • Experienced in Release Management/deployment activities and knowledgeable about DevOps best practices
  • Working Experience in agile development projects
  • Experience with change management
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • US Work Authorization Required

What you’ll get

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 to $270,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.

In addition to an annual base salary, team members will receive equity awards and a generous benefits package consisting of medical, dental and vision plan, family planning benefits, health savings account, flexible spending account, transportation savings account, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, life, accident and disability coverage, business travel accident insurance, employee assistance programs, disability insurance, and other well-being benefits.
