We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Salesforce System Analyst to join our dynamic team. This individual will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and our Salesforce platform, focusing on analyzing requirements, optimizing system configurations, and ensuring seamless integration with other business processes. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset, capable of translating complex business needs into effective Salesforce solutions and aligning technology solutions with business strategies.

What a day in the life looks like:

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements across multiple business functions, translating them into clear and actionable functional specifications for Salesforce.

  • System Configuration and Optimization: Configure and customize Salesforce to meet business needs, including custom objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, process builders, validation rules, and Lightning components.

  • Integration Support: Collaborate with developers and integration specialists to ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and other enterprise systems (ERP, marketing automation, etc.).

  • User Support and Training: Provide expert-level support to Salesforce users and troubleshoot issues.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to optimize Salesforce usage and enhance business efficiency, including analysis, redesign, re-engineering, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of Salesforce configurations, processes, and integrations, including change control for requirement artifacts.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, customer success, and IT, to ensure alignment and effective communication.

  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test scenarios, support UAT, and manage issue remediation to ensure the quality and accuracy of Salesforce configurations and integrations. Facilitate required meetings, obtain sign-off of acceptance criteria, and manage implementation.

  • Project Coordination: Lead Salesforce projects, ensuring efficient task management and self-starting initiatives.

  • Setup, Configuration and System Maintenance: Participate in the setup, configuration, and system maintenance of the Salesforce platform and potentially third-party add-on solutions.

  • Defect and Change Request Management: Identify and assist in managing any defects and change requests.

  • Continued assessment of the systems utilized for improved functionality, efficiency, and effectiveness in a growing and changing business environment.

  • This is a remote-based role within the U.S. Working pattern is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science/MIS, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered.

  • 5+ years in systems analysis or application administration.

  • 5+ years as a Salesforce System Analyst or similar role, focusing on configuration and analysis.

  • Salesforce Administrator certification required; Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or other relevant certifications preferred.

  • Proficient in Salesforce configuration (custom objects, workflows, process automation, Lightning components).

  • Familiar with Salesforce integrations and API concepts.

  • Strong understanding of sales, marketing, customer success processes, and ERP systems.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

  • Experience with SQL and SOQL is a plus.

  • Skilled in documentation, business process analysis, and graphical depiction of business processes.

  • Understanding of SDLC methodologies; experience in software solution design, development, and implementation.

  • Proficient with Enterprise platform technologies (Salesforce, O365, etc.); NetSuite experience preferred.

  • Proficient with tools like SQL, ODBC, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).

  • Efficient task management, self-starter, excellent organization skills.

  • Strong customer service orientation, continuous improvement mindset, and good judgment.
