Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior SAP IS-U Consultant with deep utilities-industry expertise to support a client in the energy and utilities sector. The ideal candidate has end-to-end IS-U configuration experience and understands the operational realities of billing, device management, and customer service for utility providers.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP IS-U across core areas: Device Management, Billing and Invoicing, and Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA).
- Design and support Move-In / Move-Out processes, meter reading, and meter data management.
- Manage master data structures for business partners, contract accounts, and installations.
- Support integration with CRM, meter data management systems, and downstream financial processes.
- Contribute to S/4HANA Utilities transition or migration activities where applicable.
- Gather requirements, author functional specifications, and coordinate with technical and offshore teams.
- Support testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.

Required Qualifications
- Must be US-based and authorized to work in the United States.
- 10+ years of SAP experience with a strong concentration in IS-U / Utilities.
- Hands-on configuration expertise across Device Management, Billing/Invoicing, and FI-CA.
- Solid understanding of utility business processes (electric, gas, and/or water).
- Strong requirements-gathering and stakeholder-facing communication skills.
