About Propellic

Propellic is the AI-first digital marketing agency for travel and tourism brands. We pair cutting-edge performance marketing with a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and radical candor—so every teammate can do the best work of their career while shaping the future of travel.

About the role

As a Senior SEO / GEO Manager at Propellic, you’ll serve as the key point of contact for high-value SEO clients, owning project planning, delivery, and results. You’ll design strategies that balance SEO fundamentals with GEO and AI-driven visibility, helping our clients stay competitive in a rapidly evolving search landscape.

You’ll act as both a client-facing consultant and an internal knowledge expert—someone who can simplify complex ideas, foster strong relationships, and elevate the skills of SEO Managers and new hires.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Craft dual-path strategic roadmaps that align SEO fundamentals with GEO deliverables and AI visibility KPIs.

  • Design creative solutions that meet client business objectives within scope and budget.

  • Research, test, and integrate emerging AI search features (AI Overviews, Generative Search, Google AI Mode, Bing Copilot).

  • Deliver quarterly strategy decks tied directly to client business goals and North Star metrics.

Delivery & Execution

  • Manage end-to-end SEO deliverables across technical, content, and link-building initiatives.

  • Execute GEO-specific deliverables: AI readiness audits, entity presence analysis, Preferred Source monitoring, and content passage refreshes.

  • Ensure 95%+ on-time delivery and client acceptance of all deliverables.

  • Produce at least one client case study every six months, highlighting measurable SEO and AI-driven results.

Consulting & Client Relationships

  • Act as the primary point of contact and project manager for assigned accounts.

  • Listen to client goals, align them with deliverables, and proactively pitch new opportunities.

  • Simplify SEO and GEO concepts for client stakeholders, ensuring they understand the value.

  • Support sales with audits, recommendations, and scope expansions.

  • Incorporate GEO/AI insights into every quarterly business review (QBR).

Communication & Project Management

  • Lead client meetings with agendas, recaps, and proactive updates.

  • Coordinate timelines with Link Building, Paid Media, and other departments.

  • Respond to all client messages within 24 business hours.

  • Share relevant SEO, AI, and travel industry updates regularly.

Team Development & Education

  • Train and mentor SEO Managers and New Hires on SEO, GEO, and AI best practices.

  • Lead internal workshops on AI tools, embedding workflows, and evolving SEO deliverables.

  • Contribute to the SEO team’s knowledge base and run at least two GEO/AI training sessions annually.

Who You Are
  • 5+ years of SEO experience, with strong technical and strategic expertise.

  • 3+ years of agency experience managing multiple simultaneous accounts.

  • Experience with clients in the Travel industry

  • Proven success managing enterprise-level or high-budget accounts.

  • Experience leading client communication and strategy discussions.

  • Deep understanding of organic search fundamentals: technical SEO, content strategy, and link building, as they relate to Organic and AI performance.

  • Curiosity and comfort with emerging AI search trends — eager to test, learn, and teach.

  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to educate and influence clients and team members.

What We Offer
  • Remote-first flexibility with a high-performing global team.

  • Medical, dental, and vision plans + 5 % 401(k) match (US employees).

  • Generous PTO, company holidays, and an annual week-long destination company retreat

  • Annual budget for professional development and industry conferences.

  • A culture that values experimentation, autonomy, and radical candor.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
