Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for a Senior Software Architect / Platform Owner — a true all-around badass engineer who can understand complex systems end-to-end, take complete ownership of the platform, and execute on high-level initiatives.This person will serve as the right hand to leadership — someone who can see the big picture, make technical decisions with confidence, and roll up their sleeves to build, scale, and refine systems when needed.This is a senior-level hands-on role for someone who thrives on ownership, autonomy, and making things happen.
Primary Responsibilities- Take full ownership of the client’s core platform — architecture, codebase, and infrastructure.
- Design and drive system architecture to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Collaborate directly with leadership and cross-functional teams to align business goals with technical execution.
- Identify weak points in the system and design robust solutions.
- Oversee and mentor development teams, ensuring consistent technical excellence.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and propose innovative improvements.
- Be accountable for delivery, system reliability, and long-term technical direction.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven background as a Senior Engineer, Tech Lead, or Architect on complex systems.
- Deep understanding of fullstack architecture (frontend, backend, cloud, and DevOps fundamentals).
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS or Azure.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to lead by example — hands-on, proactive, and execution-focused.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Nice to Have:
- Experience in system modernization, cloud architecture, or platform migrations.
- Familiarity with Python, Terraform, or GCP.
- Previous experience in leadership or advisory roles within fast-scaling companies.

Other InformationThe work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
