Senior Software Developer

Job Overview 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our Software Engineering team. This role focuses on building enterprise-grade backend solutions using Java Spring technologies while leveraging modern architectural practices, including AI integration, microservices, intelligent search, and cloud-native development. 

The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the delivery of scalable, secure, and innovative solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 

Backend Development 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud. 

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations. 

• Develop high-performance backend solutions using Oracle and/or MySQL databases. 

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability. 

• Apply software engineering best practices, including design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture. 

• Contribute to technical design discussions and solution architecture decisions. 

AI & Intelligent Systems 

• Integrate AI-powered services such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, and LangChain into enterprise applications. 

• Design and implement AI-driven features, including intelligent search, content analysis, and agent-based workflows. 

• Develop and enhance Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions. 

• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of LLM-based applications. 

• Develop AI data processing and integration pipelines. 

• Apply AI security and compliance best practices during implementation. 

Search & Data Technologies 

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise search solutions using Apache Solr and Elasticsearch. 

• Develop semantic and vector-based search capabilities. 

• Optimize database queries, indexing strategies, and data models for performance and scalability. 

• Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across backend systems. 

DevOps & Quality 

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes. 

• Work within Docker and Kubernetes-based environments. 

• Develop automated unit and integration tests. 

• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards. 

• Apply secure coding practices and OWASP security recommendations. 

Collaboration 

• Work closely with Product Management, UX, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. 

• Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities. 

• Support and mentor junior developers when needed. 

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the development lifecycle.

• 4-6 years of professional experience in Java software development. 

• Proven hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools. 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
