LiveRamp is the data collaboration platform of choice for the world’s most innovative companies. A groundbreaking leader in consumer privacy, data ethics, and foundational identity, LiveRamp is setting the new standard for building a connected customer view with unmatched clarity and context while protecting precious brand and consumer trust. LiveRamp offers complete flexibility to collaborate wherever data lives to support the widest range of data collaboration use cases—within organizations, between brands, and across its premier global network of top-quality partners.

Hundreds of global innovators, from iconic consumer brands and tech giants to banks, retailers, and healthcare leaders turn to LiveRamp to build enduring brand and business value by deepening customer engagement and loyalty, activating new partnerships, and maximizing the value of their first-party data while staying on the forefront of rapidly evolving compliance and privacy requirements.

You will:

  • Build and maintain data pipelines that power the largest and most accurate Identity Resolution graph in the country.

  • Utilize your data analysis and programming skills to create and improve algorithms that enhance the value of LiveRamp's Identity Resolution graph according to strategic business initiatives.

  • Collaborate with a supportive and passionate team of Data Analysts and Data Scientists that will provide insights to drive the development of new features that improve the quality of LiveRamp's Identity Graph.

  • Occasionally make targeted updates to cloud infrastructure resources as needed to support your team (for example, creating BigQuery datasets, storage buckets, or service accounts; adjusting network access policies; and managing access to those resources). This work is infrequent and represents a small portion of the role compared to designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines.

  • Have the opportunity to learn and apply AI technologies to solve identity resolution-related problems.

  • Adopt CI/CD principles and workflows to ship changes to the Identity Resolution graph as small, continuously tested increments.

Your team will:

  • Build and maintain data pipelines that build LiveRamp's Identity Graph, which serves as the foundation for all of LiveRamp's products and services.

  • Ensure our use of data is ethical and compliant with the most recent consumer privacy legislation.

  • Explore new techniques, including the use of Deep Learning models, for improving the accuracy and reach of LiveRamp’s Identity Graph.

  • Build and maintain the cloud infrastructure in which such pipelines are executed.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on data processing.

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing/optimizing batch-oriented Big Data ecosystems (Spark, Hadoop MapReduce, Apache Beam).

  • Strong Data Analytics skills with emphasis on graph-oriented algorithms.

  • Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms.

  • Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java.

  • Familiarity with SQL.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.

  • Experience with GCP products such as BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, PubSub.

  • Experience with infrastructure/deployment tools like Terraform.

  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.

  • Experience working in Agile development teams.

  • Experience in building and deploying Machine Learning models.

The approximate annual base compensation range is $127,000 to $191,500. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
