Streamline has built and maintains systems for some of the premier behavioral health organizations in United States of America, using the latest web-based technology.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack .NET with strong hands-on experience building, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise web applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET Web Forms, jQuery, and MS SQL Server. This role is ideal for an engineer who can work across the application stack, translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions, support production stability, and collaborate closely with product, QA, and engineering teams in a healthcare technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET Web Forms, jQuery, and MS SQL Server.

  • Develop and optimize database objects, queries, stored procedures, and performance using MS SQL Server tools such as SQL Profiler and Execution Plans.

  • Translate business requirements and workflow needs into technical design, implementation, and maintainable application changes.

  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes that improve reliability, performance, and user experience.

  • Identify technical debt, recommend practical improvements, and contribute to scalable, secure, and maintainable software delivery.

  • Support engineering best practices through code reviews, documentation, testing discipline, and knowledge sharing with other team members.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, preferably in enterprise or healthcare software applications.

  • ASP.NET Web Forms: Strong experience developing and maintaining web-based applications.

  • .NET and C#: Strong hands-on experience building reliable, scalable application components and business logic.

  • MS SQL Server: Strong skills in database design, stored procedures, query optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

  • jQuery: Proficiency in client-side scripting, UI behaviour, and integration with server-side application functionality.

  • SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services): Experience in developing and maintaining reports.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with product management and other teams.

  • Software Engineering Best Practices: Strong understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD concepts, code quality, unit testing, and secure development practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure DevOps or cloud-based development and deployment workflows is a plus.

  • Knowledge of GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, EHR, compliance, or reporting applications is a plus.
