Come join Cognitiv as a Senior Software Engineer and be a part of our fast-growing company on the cutting edge of artificial intelligence! We are looking for a talented, highly motivated software engineer with proficiency in machine learning technologies. This engineer will play a key role in the development of our ML Ops systems for real-time model inference and prediction serving. Together with Cognitiv’s team of engineers and scientists, you will help build the next generation of deep learning models that allow our campaigns to perform at scale.
This position will be located in the Bellevue, WA office with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office (Mon/Tue/Wed) and 2 days remote (Thursday/Friday).
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design, architecture and development of critical projects
- Analyze new and existing system requirements and propose novel solutions
- Implement and optimize large-scale ML inference systems using a combination of industry standard solutions as well as in-house built tools
- Collaborate with other Engineering teams and cross-functional partners to build system functionality that supports high-performing ML-driven products
- Be a mentor for Junior Engineers through Code Reviews, Pair Programming, Design Reviews.
- Develop automated testing and drive operational excellence for software
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience programming with C++17 or later
- Experience with PyTorch/Libtorch or equivalent ML programming frameworks
- Ability to own services end-to-end in service life cycle (planning, design, delegation, release, testing, etc.)
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using enterprise cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
- Experience with containerized application (Docker)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
- Experience with GPU/inference acceleration (NVIDIA TensorRT, etc.)
- Experience with ML Ops technologies (Orchestration, Model Management, Model Prediction Serving, etc)
Salary
- $160,000-$210,000 Base Salary + Equity
Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to job-related knowledge, level of relevant experience, education and skills.
