About The RoleAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will bring technical excellence outcomes to Jasper customers. You will spend time coding, doing technical design, and problem-solving, and contribute to Jasper’s ever-evolving AI platform. You will be part of a close-knit engineering team that ships new code into production multiple times a day.
This fully remote role reports to the Technical Lead Manager and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental US.
What you will do at JasperDesign, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
Write readable, maintainable, self-documenting, or well-documented code to solve complex problems with simple, elegant solutions
Take initiative to identify and solve critical problems for Jasper’s customers
Scope and execute complex tasks in a timely and effective manner
Optimize performance and address scale issues proactively, including on-call responsibilities
Work effectively with product and design partners to deliver projects
Demonstrated proficiency and continuous improvement in Jasper’s technical stack (TypeScript, React, Cloud Platforms, AI technologies)
Demonstrated breadth and depth of technical expertise across multiple domains (AI, Cloud, application platforms, etc)
Ability to navigate ambiguity through rapid prototyping
Proven track record of software delivery for customers and their outcomes
Demonstrated ability to mentor other engineers
At Jasper, we believe in pay transparency and are committed to providing our employees and candidates with access to information about our compensation practices. The expected base salary range offered for this role is $187,000-$220,000. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
