Senior Software Engineer

This position is a hybrid role requiring employees to work from our headquarters location in Seattle, WA; or Atlanta, GA every Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote all other days.

As a Senior Engineer on the One-Stop-Shop team, you'll join a passionate team, with tons of personality, working to build tools that make Redfin's dream of a true One-Stop-Shop ecosystem a reality. Our focus is to bring the brokerage, lenders and title technologies together to provide a delightful experience for both internal employees and customers.

The Role

• Develop responsive, resilient, scalable, and high-quality software using React, Java, Postgres, and various other tools/libraries.
• Balance the trade-offs between complex infrastructure investments and quick, pragmatic solutions to meet specific business needs.
• Collaborate with other engineering and non-technical stakeholders to define, design, and lead the development of significant multi-person projects.
• Mentor and guide other engineers, providing technical leadership and advocating for best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions are innovative and competitive.
• Work closely with our product, program and ops partners to deliver features on-time and with high quality.

About You

• Developer with 5+ years of experience developing full-stack, customer-facing applications.
• Strong track record of delivering on complex, multi-person and cross-team projects across a variety of technical domains.
• Keep up with the ever-changing technical landscape used to efficiently build software - we use React and React Native, but often stretch beyond these bounds.
• Experience being part of a team developing large scale apps backed by relational databases - we use Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Postgres.
• Live and breathe a culture of service to customers, operational partners and teammates. You're inspired to grow the technical abilities of those around you through mentorship.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable disclosure requirements.

Base Pay Range: $146,500.00 - 198,000.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include bonuses and equity.
