Social Finance, LLC seeks Senior Software Engineer in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Use different object-oriented programming languages to build performant and scalable backend applications in a cloud-based microservice architecture. Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product. Help translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions. Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment. Mentor other engineers, support the technical culture, and help grow the team. Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Sofi offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) JavaScript; (3) HTML5; (4) CSS3; (5) ReactJS; (6) Redux; (7) Bootstrap; (8) AWS tools including EC2, Lambda, and S3; (9) Github; (10) Postman; (11) MySQL; (12) Redis. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Sofi offices may be required.
Salary: $190,486.00 - $219,058.90 per annum & standard company benefits.
