SENIOR SOLUTION ARCHITECT

DEPARTMENT: Professional Services

DIRECT REPORTS: No

As part of our Solution Architecture team, you are working with experienced colleagues to implement our solutions within customer projects, owning and managing the design from initial design workshops until go live.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand and connect customers’ existing business processes and technology to propose the e2open solution to create measurable business value
  • Conduct and lead business and technical design workshops around our customers’ complex global Supply Chain processes to create highly scalable and sustainable solutions
  • Synthesize customer’s business requirements to create clear and comprehensive use cases, functional design requirements and technical system requirements
  • Act as the key resource to ensure the customer is comfortable that solution design addresses requirements
  • Define the overall integration architecture between different customer systems and the e2open stack in terms of functional data flow and data choreography
  • You support our program directors to manage scope against contract
  • Perform fit gap analysis between e2open cloud product functionality and the client’s requirements
  • Be a leader on a team of technical and business analysts and engineers, foster a productive team environment, leverage diverse views to encourage innovation, and mentor team members to ensure their success and growth
  • Capture and share best practice knowledge among e2open Professional Services community
  • Champion more than one business product area
  • Ensure the designed solution is translated and implemented.
  • Liaise with different Product Stakeholders in shaping the Product Roadmap
  • Effort analysis and estimate the implementation effort.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 4-6 years as a Solution Architect and/or 5-7 years working in Supply Chain-related field in increasingly responsible roles including implementing complex solutions in an enterprise customer environment
  • Understanding Business Needs. Gathering requirements from business stakeholders, understanding their challenges, and translating them into functional/technical specifications in e2open products.

  • Design and Implementation. Designing and implementing technological solutions to address supply chain challenges that customers are facing, including integrating various systems and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes. Familiarity with various supply chain functions, such as procurement methods, warehousing, and transportation management.
  • Stakeholder Management. Working with various stakeholders, including project managers, technical consultants, and customer contacts, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Business analysis skills. Ability to analyze business requirements, identify problems, and propose solutions.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, and work collaboratively in a team.
  • Problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management practices and knowledge of Supply Chain strategies and industry best practices
  • Strong functional knowledge in Source to Pay, Procure to Pay which includes, RFI, RFP, Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Shipments, GRs, and invoices, Reconciliation, Suppliers Onboarding, Scheduling Agreements, Blanket Orders, Releases, Firm Delivery Schedules, Transport Orders, Transfer Orders, various OTD Reports, Forecasts and Forecast Commits, Suggested Replenishments, understanding of Master Data, Transportation Management functions and Global Logistics functions
  • Experience in cutting edge AI/ML technologies is preferred
  • Familiarity with SAP, Oracle and/or other ERP systems
  • Good technological proficiency (data science, SQL)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • APICS certification is a plus (CPIM, CSCP, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field, Master’s degree a plus
  • Previous experience implementing software using a software development lifecycle (SDLC) implementation model
  • Excellent English communication (oral, written, presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Supply chain certification is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • General office environment and responsibilities requiring:
  • Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday
  • Placing and receiving phone calls
  • Occasionally moving and lifting objects up to 20 pounds
  • May require occasional travel as needed
