We are seeking a highly versatile, full-spectrum analytics professional to serve as a strategic problem-solver and internal innovation catalyst. The Senior Solutions Developer role goes beyond traditional analytics or development-this individual will operate as a cross-functional "analytics SWAT team," capable of rapidly diagnosing business challenges, architecting solutions, and delivering end-to-end outcomes across data engineering, analytics, and application development.
The ideal candidate is a true "jack of all trades" across the data lifecycle-equally comfortable designing data models, building ETL pipelines, developing tools, creating dashboards, and performing advanced analytics. This individual thrives in ambiguity, operates with minimal direction, and proactively identifies opportunities to create value-even before problems are formally defined.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Architect, design, and deliver full-stack analytics solutions spanning data engineering, data modeling, tool development, visualization and advanced analytics
  • Apply solid systems thinking to connect the dots across a wide range of analytics domains
  • Act as an internal analytics SWAT team member to rapidly respond to complex, undefined, or emerging business problems
  • Continuously innovate by identifying new ways to solve problems and improve outcomes
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Operate with autonomy and ownership, taking initiative with minimal direction
  • Adapt quickly to ambiguity, shifting priorities, and evolving business needs
  • Develop solutions for problems that are not yet fully articulated or understood
  • Connect disparate data sources, systems, and processes across a broad analytics ecosystem to uncover insights, identify patterns, and drive end-to-end decision-making
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities to design and implement innovative solutions
  • Translate loosely defined business needs into technical designs and working solutions
  • Rapidly prototype, iterate, and refine solutions in a nimble development environment
  • Design and deliver intuitive Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that drive actionable insights
  • Operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments with limited or informal requirements
  • Design and build databases, data models, and optimized queries
  • Develop and manage ETL processes
  • Build and maintain scalable data structures, ETL processes, data pipelines and automated workflows
  • Write application code to support analytics tools and interfaces
  • Use structured, analytical thinking to break down and solve complex challenges

You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in development/technical experience preferably in Analytics or data warehousing project environment
  • 3+ years of experience in SQL Server development (developing stored procedures, modeling, T-SQL query development, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience with Power BI
  • 1+ years of experience with SSIS or python
  • 1+ years C# and .NET experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cloud based technology experience (Snowflake, Azure, Databricks)
  • Experience developing AI solutions

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
