The Senior Strategic Consultant is a deep technical and functional expert responsible for successfully executing, refining, and managing key segments of the end-to-end solution during the implementation and consulting engagements. Specializing in operational processes within the staffing industry, this role ensures the technical configuration and design meets and optimizes the customer’s business requirements. This position drives high-quality delivery and contributes significantly to the change management activities to ensure strong user adoption and value realization from the Bullhorn platform. The Senior Strategic Consultant is the expert on "how" to configure and deliver the solution.

As a Senior Strategic Consultant, a typical day might include:

Solution Delivery and Execution
  • Collaborating with the Solution Owner (Principal Strategic Consultant) on the design and owns the execution and detailed configuration for major functional areas of the solution, ensuring optimal platform use within the defined design. If no Solution Owner is assigned, the Sr Strategic Consultant assumes this role (typically for smaller projects).

  • Leading detailed business process mapping sessions for specific functions or departments to identify pain points and configure the target state processes.

  • Delivering operational optimization projects focused on refining existing workflows and improving productivity within defined parameters.

  • Providing technical feasibility assessments for configuration requests within the core platform.

Team and Specialist Engagement
  • Working closely with the Solution Owner to understand the overall design and proactively flags potential technical triggers that may require engagement with the Solution Architect (SA) or other technical resources or owns this engagement where the SO doesn’t exist.

  • Serving as a key contributor to resolution discussions regarding solution or configuration challenges, partnering with the Project Manager (PM) & Solution Owner (SO) to manage communication and drive the path to resolution.

  • Consulting with the Data Engineer to ensure the configured solutions aligns with data transformation requirements.

Customer Adoption and Change
  • Contributing to and executing the customer’s change management and adoption plan.

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to key users, guiding them through Bullhorn best practices and operational trade-offs to protect the integrity of the solution design.

This job might be for you if:

Experience
  • You have 4–7+ years of total experience, with significant direct exposure to the staffing industry or complex SaaS implementation.

  • A strong track record of executing, configuring, and optimizing complex business processes, including demonstrable success managing configuration for ATS/CRM implementation projects.

  • Experience consulting with small to mid-sized staffing agencies.

  • Experience in a role accountable for leading the implementation and configuration of complex business solutions within a defined architectural design.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the technical stack to confidently configure and deliver the solution independently.

Technical and Domain Expertise
  • A comprehensive understanding of recruiter workflows, client fulfillment cycles, and key business drivers within a staffing vertical (preferred).

  • A strong Understanding of Business Process Optimization principles.

  • An understanding of Change Management and User Adoption principles.

Education and Credentials
  • Certifications that strengthen credibility: Certified Staffing Professional (CSP – ASA), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Lean Six Sigma certification.

Actual pay within the range will be based on factors such as, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
