As a Deal Desk Manager, you will coordinate complex enterprise deals, streamline processes, manage approvals across teams, and enhance workflows for efficiency.
Your mission
As Deal Desk Manager at Mimica, you will own the coordination and execution of complex enterprise deal processes, partnering across Sales, Finance, Legal, and InfoSec to help accelerate deal velocity while ensuring rigor, alignment, and sound commercial judgment. Our environment involves highly customized enterprise deals that require structured coordination, thoughtful contract management, and the ability to navigate ambiguity across multiple stakeholders.
In the near term, you will help drive deal execution and bring structure to how we operate today. Over time, you will help build the playbooks, processes, and infrastructure that define how Deal Desk scales at Mimica.
Part of your day-to-day
- Own and drive the progression of deal requests through Deal Desk, ensuring stakeholders remain aligned and deals continue moving efficiently.
- Serve as the central point of coordination across Sales, Finance, Legal, InfoSec, and executive stakeholders to manage approvals, dependencies, and timelines.
- Support deal structuring, pricing approvals, discounting, and non-standard commercial terms in alignment with company policies.
- Review and manage customer contract workflows, including handling lightweight redlines, supporting contract negotiations, and escalating more complex legal matters where appropriate.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support security questionnaires, customer diligence requests, RFPs, and related deal requirements.
- Build and improve repeatable workflows, playbooks, templates, and approval pathways to improve deal velocity and reduce operational friction.
- Help standardize common commercial and contractual positions while identifying opportunities for automation, tooling, and process improvement.
- Contribute to the long-term design and scaling of the Deal Desk function, helping shape how the team and operating model evolve over time.
What you will bring
- Strong background in Deal Desk, Commercial Operations, Contracts Management, Sales Operations, or related roles within B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
- Experience supporting complex, negotiated enterprise deals involving customized commercial terms and contract workflows.
- Strong understanding of SaaS pricing models, enterprise procurement processes, and contract mechanics.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional processes involving Sales, Finance, Legal, and security or compliance stakeholders.
- Strong judgment, prioritization, and project management skills in fast-paced environments with competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups.
- A builder mindset, with a demonstrated ability to bring structure to ambiguity and improve processes as you go.
Bonus
- Familiarity with Salesforce, PandaDoc (or other CPQ / Proposal platforms), QuickBooks (or other invoicing/accounting tools), and contract lifecycle management systems (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign CLM).
- Familiarity with Supplier portals like Coupa, SAP Ariba, and other enterprise procurement platforms.
- Experience negotiating legal contract terms, especially in the context of SaaS agreements, data protection, and liability.
