What you’ll be doing 

We are seeking a Senior Supply Planning Analyst to join our Supply Chain & Logistics team. Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring optimal inventory availability, improving supply performance and delivering exceptional customer outcomes across our operations.

As the subject matter expert for supply planning, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute inventory strategies, mitigate supply risks, improve forecasting accuracy and support business growth through informed inventory management decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as the Supply Planning Subject Matter Expert (SME) across the business.

  • Develop and maintain accurate inventory and supply plans to meet forecast demand.

  • Analyse inventory coverage, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions.

  • Partner with operational and commercial teams to optimise stock availability and service performance.

  • Assess the impact of inventory decisions on stock turns, obsolescence, service levels, and overall commercial outcomes.

  • Participate in maintenance planning discussions and provide inventory recommendations aligned to customer requirements.

  • Monitor supply plan performance and proactively identify and manage supply risks.

  • Conduct root cause analysis on supply issues, forecast accuracy, and order performance.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Proven ability to analyse complex data and translate insights into actionable business decisions.

  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders and influencing outcomes.

  • Knowledge of mining, construction equipment, industrial products, or similar operational environments.

  • Demonstrated project management experience.

  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.

  • Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
