Position Overview

In this position, you will oversee full lifecycle recruiting, developing sourcing and recruiting strategies for a diverse candidate pool based on current business needs and anticipating future needs.  You will network and create pipelines with passive candidate pools, define and lead recruiting strategies, and focus on candidate & hiring manager experience. You will help drive our next stage of growth as we build our team with top tier talent.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys running the recruiting process from end to end and is comfortable working through ambiguity. On top of being organized and goal oriented, you like to move fast while developing lasting relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders. NOTE: This position is temporary with an anticipated engagement duration of 3-months.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Create the best candidate experience, from initial outreach to close
  • Partners with the business to design recruiting strategies to meet the specific needs of client teams.                                                                                 
  • Interfaces with all levels of the organization and demonstrates excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, planning, and prioritization.                                                                                                                                 
  • Partners with Talent Sourcing on search strategies, conducts sourcing for identified roles.          
  • Negotiates and develops new hire compensation package/offers with limited guidance.                     
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes, and fine-tuning standard operating procedures to assist the team.  
  • Manage the recruiting process while ensuring data integrity in our ATS (Greenhouse)
  • Determine applicant qualifications by reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, and comparing technical qualifications to job requirements.
  • Maintain accurate applicant information in ATS and follow department processes.
  • Assist with Talent Acquisition projects.
  • All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements (Education, Experience, Other)

Required

  • Bachelors and 12+ years of related experience, or Masters and 10+ years of related experience
  • Extensive experience recruiting in the pharmaceutical/ biotech/ diagnostics industry
  • Proven experience leading Talent Acquisition programs or projects (i.e.- Hiring Manager training, Employee Referral Program, ATS/CRM optimization and training etc.)
  • Excellent business acumen and ability to quickly develop in-depth understanding of Adaptive's business and the Life Science Industry.
  • Ability to influence within all levels of an organization
  • Proven experience partnering with the business to provide mutually beneficial solutions to recruiting challenges.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing creative recruiting strategies
  • Ability to act with a high sense of urgency and juggle a heavy and diverse req load in a rapid-paced environment.
  • Experience coaching and influencing leadership and achieving results.
  • Biotech/Tech industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to identify problems and use critical thinking skills to drive appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to effectively manage client and candidate expectations                                                 
  • Results achievement in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High degree of initiative; must be able to work independently and be a self‐starter as well as a strong team player
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage highly confidential information
  • Sense of urgency and business orientation combined with strong customer service skills
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive LinkedIn and ATS experience

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $69.52 - $104.32

Adaptive’s posted compensation information includes a base salary (or hourly rate) range and summary of other available total compensation. The base salary range represents a minimum-to-maximum salary (or hourly rate) available to candidates upon extension of offer. Base salary is thoughtfully considered upon offer and is determined through multiple evaluation checks throughout the interview process, including: a candidate’s ability to meet minimum qualifications (skills/experience/education), a candidate’s ability to thoughtfully address preferred qualifications, current market conditions, and internal pay equity. Listed base salary is exclusive of bonus, commission, equity, differential pay, benefits, and other incentives.
