Work Arrangement:
This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Pontiac, Milford or Mountain View, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.

We are looking for a high-performing Talent Acquisition Partner who shares GM's drive for excellence and our passion for extraordinary customer care and relationship building. Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of project management proficiency, critical thinking ability, and effective organizational skills to develop and execute sound recruiting strategies. Subject-matter expertise of applicable employment law is a requirement. Expert judgment, grace under pressure, and personal resilience are important qualities for success in this valuable role as recruiters personally source, interview, and onboard new hires for highly complex, moderate-volume jobs.
What You'll Do:

  • The selected TA Partner will primarily be responsible for recruiting corporate roles, and related positions
  • Partner and actively build collaborative relationships with hiring leaders to understand hiring needs and strategic objectives, as well as candidates' level of experience and desired characteristics or competencies
  • As the subject matter expert, work with assigned functional area's Human Resource professionals and hiring leaders to develop desired recruiting strategies, source and screen qualified internal and external candidates, and professionally onboard new employees
  • Provide operational excellent during the end to end recruitment process, prioritizing a high-touch level of communication to enable an outstanding candidate and stakeholder experience.
  • Attend appropriate HR and business function staff meetings and provide recruiting updates, metrics through strong data judgement analysis proposing appropriate delivery strategies
  • Employ continuous improvement through consistent re-assessment of recruiting plans, methods, tools and processes
  • Exercise appropriate situational judgement independently, understanding when to escalate matters.
  • Understands external factors that impact the supply of top talent, GM's bold position, salary level structure, candidate supply, and candidate requirements for various job categories assessing and consulting on the best approach
  • Communicates and upskills hiring leaders on candidate and new employee needs throughout the interviewing and onboarding process
  • Partners with Talent Insights and Recruitment Marketing to meet performance metrics

  • Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience is required
  • Must have demonstrated experience with executive/senior level stakeholders
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to navigate and work effectively in an evolving environment, communicating effectively with leaders, peers and other stakeholders
  • Must demonstrate learning agility
  • Curiosity driven and passionate for knowledge building and problem solving
  • Collaborative, ability to build new relationships
  • Credible and mature - confident and factual in manner
  • Ability to challenge in a non-confrontational manner and to accept constructive criticism; Must be level-headed and cool under pressure

The expected base compensation for this role is: $85,100 - $135,900. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
