The ideal candidate will excel in developing strategic sales plans, building key client relationships, and closing large-scale enterprise deals. As a Senior Technical Business Development Specialist for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:

  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts to align with company objectives.
  • Demonstrating deep knowledge of enterprise networking and embedded solutions, articulating their value proposition effectively.
  • Accelerating customer adoption by delivering targeted education and engagement strategies.
  • Negotiating and closing large-scale deals with enterprise customers to drive growth.
  • Engaging with clients to understand business challenges and providing tailored technology solutions.
  • Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics to implement improvements for better outcomes.
  • Collaborating with strategic partners to identify and manage joint selling opportunities.
  • Staying informed about product updates, ensuring alignment within the sales team.
  • Customizing embedded and networking solutions to meet unique client requirements for mission-critical environments.
  • Conducting technical training sessions and demos for client engineering teams to showcase product capabilities.

Requirements

You have:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in technical sales, business development, or solutions engineering, preferably within the embedded systems or networking domains.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of networking protocols, embedded systems, and software development processes.
  • Prior experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) or cloud-native technology companies.
  • Communication Skills: Proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, with a focus on building relationships with engineering teams.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze client needs and develop tailored solutions that address specific challenges.
  • Curiosity and Learning: Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest technological advancements.

You might also have:

  • Exposure to or certifications in enterprise storage platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Track record of closing deals exceeding $1M in annual contract value (ACV).
  • Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Marketo.
  • Experience working with government or public sector contracts.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their business applications.

The compensation for this position is tailored to reflect your unique skill set, relevant experience, and the current dynamics of the job market. We strive to ensure that our compensation package is competitive and fair, taking into account various factors to provide a rewarding opportunity for our team members.

Additionally, performance-based incentives may be included as part of the total compensation package. These details will be discussed during the hiring process to ensure transparency and alignment with the responsibilities and expectations of the role.

The annual salary range for this role is: 120,000 - 160,000 in addition to our comprehensive benefits package.
