About XBOW

Build the future of offensive security with XBOW. Attackers are already using AI to move faster than defenders can react—we’re creating the platform that puts security ahead in the arms race. Our AI-powered system autonomously discovers, validates, and even exploits vulnerabilities, giving organizations proof-backed results in hours instead of weeks.

Founded by Oege de Moor, creator of GitHub Copilot, and backed by Sequoia, Altimeter, and other leading investors, XBOW is applying cutting-edge AI to one of the world’s most urgent problems. In just over a year, our AI—built by a world-class AI team and legendary security researchers—has uncovered thousands of real-world zero-days across the software billions rely on, and achieved the #1 ranking on HackerOne’s global leaderboard.

We’re a team of builders, hackers, and researchers who thrive on solving problems others think are impossible. If you want to push the boundaries of AI, reshape how security is done, and join the group defining this new era of defense—we’d love to talk.

Your Role: Senior Product Marketing Manager

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager who can define and articulate the value of XBOW’s autonomous offensive security platform to highly technical buyers, practitioners, and executives. This role sits at the intersection of product, security research, sales, and marketing with the primary ownership of how our technology is positioned, explained, and brought to market.

You’ll translate deep technical capabilities, such as AI-driven vulnerability discovery, exploit validation, and continuous learning systems into crisp narratives, differentiated messaging, and compelling go-to-market strategies. You’ll work directly with product managers, security researchers, and engineers to understand what’s truly novel, then turn that into positioning that resonates with CISOs, AppSec leaders, red teams and industry analysts.

You’ll thrive here if you love going deep on complex technology, can speak fluently with both hackers and executives, and are excited to define a new category in security.

What you will do
  • Own technical product positioning and messaging for XBOW’s autonomous offensive security platform and key capabilities

  • Develop and maintain technical narratives that clearly differentiate XBOW from legacy pentesting, scanners, and emerging AI security tools

  • Continuously assess competitive landscape and develop associated counter-positioning to support sales enablement and associated artifacts (i.e, sales battle cards, competitive campaigns, etc.)

  • Partner closely with Product and Security Research to deeply understand roadmap, vulnerability coverage, exploitation techniques, and AI learning systems

  • Translate technical innovation into customer-facing artifacts: launch messaging, solution briefs, whitepapers, blogs, demos, and sales enablement

  • Lead product launches from beta to GA, including messaging, packaging, pricing input, and cross-functional readiness

  • Build technical enablement for Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success

  • Develop and consistently evaluate pricing and packaging of XBOW offerings to market

  • Work directly with customers to capture proof points, use cases, and real-world impact stories to develop ROI calculations and value measurements

  • Support analyst relations and technical briefings with clear, defensible narratives

  • Define success metrics for product marketing impact: customer adoption, pipeline influence, win/loss insights, and message resonance

Skills and qualificationsEssential:
  • Degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience

  • Significant experience in product marketing, preferably in cybersecurity, developer tools, or infrastructure platforms

  • Strong technical foundation in application security, vulnerability management, or offensive security concepts

  • Ability to understand and explain AI/ML-driven systems in practical, security-relevant terms

  • Proven experience translating complex technical products into clear positioning and messaging

  • Deep curiosity—you want to know how things actually work under the hood

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, from technical deep dives to executive-level narratives

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Research, and Sales

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to incorporate customer insights and market feedback into strategy

Advantageous:
  • Hands-on background in penetration testing, security research, or AppSec tooling

  • Experience marketing AI-native or autonomous security products

  • Previous experience at high-growth security or DevOps companies

  • Familiarity with vulnerability disclosure programs, bug bounties, or offensive security workflows

  • Experience supporting analyst relations or technical press

What we offer
  • Compensation & Equity: Competitive salary and equity package, making you a true owner of the company

  • Career Growth: Shape the product marketing function and grow with the company as we define a new security category

  • Meaningful Work: Tackle technically complex challenges and play a pivotal role in how AI transforms cybersecurity, alongside world-class researchers and builders

We aren’t focused on seniority titles at XBOW—so if you’re worried about “leveling,” don’t be. We care far more about mission fit, capability, and impact than what’s on your LinkedIn headline.

We believe in people driven by curiosity and a willingness to learn. Even if you don’t check every box, we encourage you to apply if you’re excited about the role.
