About the Role
We need to solve big security challenges at scale. As a Technical Program Manager focused on Compliance, you will help discover, define, and drive the execution of security compliance projects to reduce risk at Cloudflare. You will work with the Security team and all of our stakeholders to:
- Partner with the Governance Risk and Compliance team as their dedicated Technical Program Manager
- Connect with Cloudflare's many teams through expert communication and diplomacy to maintain alignment and encourage collaboration
- Support the long term program roadmap planning, manage project updates aligned with the roadmap and report on project level OKRs
- Manage projects with tight deadlines and changing priorities, effectively balancing risk to achieve business objectives
- Identify stakeholders and drive alignment, including dependency identification and tracking
- Generate cadenced program updates, reports, and metrics that provide executive and board level summaries
- Manage change to scope, timeline, key results/outcomes and budget
- Maintain a project management framework using milestones, communication plans, decision logs, issues, risks, etc.
- Balance the focus on long term vision and roadmap versus addressing high risk tactical security issues
- 8-10+ years of experience in technical program management and a desire for continuous improvement
- Experience in cybersecurity or compliance, including experience directly supporting federal security programs (FedRAMP High/Moderate, DoD IL4)
- BS+ in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or related field or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of creating realistic project plans, managing dependencies, and overseeing execution to meet commitments with predictability.
- Excellent oral and written communication, proven track record of effective communication at various levels including executive level
- Comfortable managing tight deadlines, changing priorities, and ambiguity.
- Proven ability to forge and sustain effective partnerships internally and externally
- Strong competency with Confluence and JIRA and various development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Kaizen, Scrum, etc).
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve
- Embraces technology including automation and AI augmentation
- Highly skilled communicator and influencer with the ability to reflect and question positively and effectively
- Experience working with multiple time zones and cross-functional teams.
Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
- For Washington D.C. based hires: Estimated annual salary of $158,000-$218,000
Equity
