GEICO is seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to drive execution excellence across a complex portfolio of Marketing Technology initiatives. This role owns the operating rhythm, cross-team coordination, dependency management, delivery predictability, and executive visibility across multiple product and platform teams.
You will partner directly with senior product leaders, engineering, AI, marketing, legal, compliance, privacy, and operations teams to ensure programs land on time, at quality, and at scale. This role is ideal for a systems thinker who thrives in ambiguity, manages large cross-functional portfolios, and brings rigor to execution without slowing teams down.
Success will be measured by improved delivery predictability, faster cross-team execution, reduced operational risk, and high confidence from executive stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Program Leadership
Own end-to-end program management across a portfolio of Marketing Technology and Growth initiatives (messaging automation platform (emails, notifications, SMS, etc) experimentation platforms, personalization, AI , analytics, SEO/AEO, data platforms).
Translate strategic roadmaps into integrated execution plans with clear milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource alignment.
Drive operating cadence across the portfolio: quarterly planning, roadmap reviews, execution health reviews, MBRs/QBRs, and executive updates.
Cross-Functional Orchestration
Align product, engineering, analytics, marketing, security, privacy, legal, and operations stakeholders toward shared delivery goals.
Proactively surface and resolve cross-team dependencies, resourcing conflicts, and sequencing constraints.
Facilitate crisp decision-making and tradeoff alignment at the right altitude.
Execution Excellence & Delivery Predictability
Establish standardized program management practices: milestone tracking, risk management, change control, capacity planning, and delivery forecasting.
Drive consistent execution metrics: on-time delivery, scope stability, throughput, risk burn-down, and operational readiness.
Identify systemic execution bottlenecks and continuously improve operating mechanisms.
Risk, Compliance & Operational Readiness
Ensure regulatory, privacy, security, and compliance requirements are integrated early into program planning and execution.
Partner with legal, security, and governance teams to manage reviews, approvals, and launch readiness.
Drive production readiness, go-live coordination, and post-launch retrospectives.
AI & Platform Enablement Programs
Manage cross-cutting AI and platform initiatives that span multiple teams and require tight coordination (data readiness, model deployment, experimentation infrastructure, observability, governance).
Track AI program maturity across data quality, model readiness, infrastructure stability, and compliance controls.
Executive Communication & Visibility
Build clear executive-level narratives on portfolio health, risks, tradeoffs, and investment impact.
Produce concise dashboards, status reports, and operating reviews aligned to leadership expectations.
Anticipate escalations and proactively manage executive alignment.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of program or technical program management experience leading large cross-functional initiatives.
Proven track record managing complex portfolios with multiple teams and interdependencies.
Strong operational rigor in planning, execution tracking, and risk management.
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Experience operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading programs in Marketing Technology, AdTech, Growth platforms, Data platforms, or AI/ML platforms.
Familiarity with agile delivery models, scaled planning frameworks, and modern engineering practices.
Strong systems thinking with the ability to connect strategy to execution.
Comfort working with technical architecture concepts, data pipelines, and platform dependencies.
Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments (financial services, insurance, healthcare).
PMP, PgMP, or similar certification a plus (not required)
Annual Salary
$130,000.00 - $260,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
