About the Role

While Thumbtack is focused on building a world-class marketplace connecting customers and pros, the Technical Recruiting team enables the business to achieve its mission by attracting, selecting, and hiring highly qualified technical talent.  As the expert in this space, having made an impact as a full-cycle Recruiter in a highly competitive tech-led organization, you will have the opportunity not just to hire top talent into unique roles, but also to make a significant contribution to the continuous improvement of the art and craft of Recruiting at Thumbtack.  Because each of us contribute to a very high bar for excellence, you will have the opportunity to bring and display your unique best practices at all stages of the recruiting cycle, and a particular passion for partnering with, and closing, candidates actively in the process. • Hire: To win, we must be masters of the art of negotiation.  With pay-equity in mind, you will partner with Compensation and Hiring Managers to propose the most reasonable and competitive offer, and sell it because you believe in it, while treating company resources as your own.
  • Operational Excellence: Whether Thumbtack prevails or fails, endures or dies, depends entirely on how well we hire.  As a master of your craft, and as a lifelong learner, you will proactively contribute to improving how well we hire by implementing new ideas, best practices, and most of importantly, by influencing the business to set a gold-standard for hiring.
