NorthBay Solutions is looking for a highly skilled Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team remotely from India. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing intuitive, scalable, and visually engaging user interfaces for modern digital products, including AI-driven applications.
This role demands a user-first mindset, a strong grasp of User-Centered Design (UCD) principles, and the ability to translate complex requirements into seamless and responsive user experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders across global teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end UI/UX design process, from user research and ideation to final design handoff.
- Create wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma.
- Design intuitive and responsive interfaces that work seamlessly across devices and screen sizes.
- Apply User-Centered Design (UCD) principles to ensure usability, accessibility, and consistency.
- Design interfaces for AI-powered and data-driven applications, simplifying complex workflows.
- Maintain and evolve design systems, style guides, and reusable component libraries.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate and high-quality implementation of designs.
- Conduct usability testing, gather user feedback, and iterate designs based on insights.
- Present design concepts, user flows, and rationale clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
- 6–9+ years of proven experience in UI/UX design for web and digital applications.
- Strong expertise in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and UI design.
- Solid understanding of User-Centered Design (UCD) principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards.
- Proven experience creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and responsive designs.
- Experience designing AI application UIs or complex, data-heavy interfaces.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating real-world projects, design thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment.
- Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Knowledge of usability testing tools and design validation techniques.
- Exposure to cross-cultural or global product teams.
- Work Mode: Remote (India-based candidates only).
- Collaboration: Must be comfortable working with distributed, international teams.
- Availability: Ability to align with overlapping time zones as required.
